Leadership Curriculum

Our customized curriculum – developed by women leaders with decades of experience in business, education and law – is infused into every class and Advisory from grades six through 12.

Middle School Leadership Courses

An integral part of the Middle School program, this yearlong leadership course at every grade level lays the groundwork for all students to begin developing and sharpening skills that will serve them for a lifetime. Goal-setting, team building, public speaking and written communication skills, as well as an introduction to financial literacy, are just a few of the topics covered.

Foundations of Leadership

An elective for 11 and 12th grades, this course combines self-evaluation tools (through Myers-Briggs and other assessments) with the academic study of leadership, and the development of leader skills.  Guest speakers, a field trip, career coaching and interviewing, strategic planning, and business etiquette are included.  This is our most popular leadership course!

Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Creativity

This leadership elective for students in grades 10–12 illustrates how revolutionary products and services were developed. With a hands-on focus, students roll up their sleeves, test their own creativity, and develop new solutions for ongoing challenges.
